Second Round Draw Notes

The draw for the knock-out phase was held on Saturday 29th at Castle Inn Newcastle. The 16 remaining pairs were drawn into 8 matches to be played next week. We will be using five venues next week with matches at Beechbrook, Leabeg, Sunrise, Fenelons and Paul Byrnes.

The matches are scheduled to start at 9pm on the night and each venue will be open from 8.30 to allow a little time for preparation.

Each match will be the best of 3 TIMED frames each of 30 minutes duration and full snooker rules apply in all cases, free ball etc. We do not play the "MISS" rule. In the event of a foul you can request the other player to play again if you wish.

If there is an availability problem with a player or players for any match, it will be the responsibility of the Captains of those Groups to arrange alternative dates or times and, if required, provide a SUB. The SUB must have played in the original qualifying Group.

All alternative arrangements MUST be notified to Keith Stringer or Gerry Reynolds in advance of the game.
