On Monday 17th Jan Group 2 Gerry Reynolds concluded at Sunrise and after a number of close games, William Bennett finished on 17 points after 5 wins with Noel Golden on 16 points as was Mark Fennelly on 16 points. One of the highlights of the night was a tense last minute drawn game. Mark's overall "goal difference" was 41 points to Noel's 40 points and this one point put Noel into third place. So William and Mark will represent Group 2 in the knock out draw on Saturday 29th Jan in Castle Inn. Noel is well positioned as a third place runner up. Remember the best two 3rd place runners up ACROSS ALL GROUPS will form the 16th and final pair for the knock out phase.
On Tuesday 18th Group 10 Pat O'Sullivan comcluded at Sunrise and after a 14th frame decider the Group winner was Dave Dunne who will team up with Steve Lock in the next round.
Group 1 Keith Stringer will finish up tonight Weds 19th Jan at Leabeg and Group 11 Mervyn Garrett will start this evening in Ballyloughlin.
